Este relatório é resultado do trabalho da IMS , e traduz-se na integração dos diversos pontos de vista, contributos e dados, que foram apresentados na conferência realizada em Vancouver, Abril deste ano: Learning Impact 2007.
Não obstante focalizado na realidade académica e empresarial dos E.U.A., são várias as reflexões e realidades que podem e diria mesmo, deverão, fazer eco aqui no nosso Portugal. Alcançar impacto na aprendizagem (nos campos da formação ou da educação) através de um investimento estratégico na tecnologia.
Adoption indicates large-scale acceptance, typically meaning that a solution is highly useable. Accountability is the leadership imperative to determine the appropriate mix of access, affordability, and quality and to ensure its realization. Organizational learning is the scaffolding that supports the ability to provide high quality educational experiences. Interoperability enables choice and ease of implementation, a key element in enabling an efficient industry. Innovation, of course, represents the ability to solve problems in new ways or even envision completely new approaches. (pág.10)
Technology is only helpful if we know what we want to do,” says Lombardi. “The role of technology is to help people figure out better ways of doing what it is they want to do. But if they don’t know what they want to do, or if the technology just adds cost and no efficiencies or improvements, it will be gee-whiz value, but not real or lasting value. (pág 31)
